For over 30 years, Pentec Health has been an industry leader in providing patient-specific compounded sterile medications for administration in dialysis centers, as well as providing in-home Specialty Infusion services and complex pharmaceutical products to patients who require access outside of a hospital settings. As a registered outsourcing facility, Pentec reinforces its’ innovation, market leadership, and commitment to patients and providers by providing sterile compounds to meet the needs of the nation’s institutional healthcare segments.
The Challenge
Upon entering a new market as an FDA registered 503B Outsourcing Facility, Pentec needed a website that would highlight the company’s transformation from a small, local sterile compounding pharmacy to a national leader. Outdated and underused, the previous Pentec website lacked the functionality to support a rapidly growing business structure. eCity partnered with Pentec to create a more modern site to match the company’s innovative services and commitment to a patient-first approach to healthcare.
The Process
eCity performed extensive user research and testing to determine how to best meet the needs of Pentec’s various audiences. In conjunction with user interviews, we also met with stakeholders across Pentec’s three business units to understand how they contribute to the mission of the company as a whole and ensure their interests are represented on the new site.
The Result
The new site gave Pentec’s online presence a much-needed facelift to go along with their new business structure. Each of Pentec’s three business units are now represented on the site in a way that’s visually appealing and easy for users to navigate. Added site functionality allows doctors to easily access patient information, use the site as a referral point, and perform administrative duties hassle-free. The updated site lends credibility to Pentec and better matches their reputation as an industry leader for more than 30 years.
