Creative Director

eCity is looking for a passionate Creative Director to lead and inspire the creative and design departments to constantly challenge and exceed the expectations of our clients, internal teams, and the agency. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Design Department Leadership & Management

  • Proactively and respectfully lead, mentor, motivate and collaborate with Art Director and designers, both in-house and freelance.
  • Foster an environment of multidisciplinary collaboration and creative problem-solving
  • Accurately forecast design resources needed based on upcoming projects, and recruit and prepare team members accordingly
  • Advocate for innovative processes and technologies across projects; excitement about new trends in technology but interested in real creative value, not just hype
  • Push for new uses of media in spaces, especially opportunities beyond screens
  • Comfortable with close client collaboration, and willingness to workshop, sketch, and discuss concepts at every level
  • Draw from a range of experience and references in and out of our field, including knowledge of best-in-class media projects alongside art, film, installation, etc—let your passions push us forward
  • Serve as a strategic partner to clients

Business Development

  • 8+ years of experience designing for award-winning interactive digital media
  • History of successfully executed projects in a leadership role

Digital Media Specialist

eCity Interactive is seeking a full-time Digital Media Specialist to manage digital media campaigns for the agency and a diverse roster of clients including, SaaS, Higher Education, Finance, and Retail/Ecommerce. This individual will be responsible for the development, execution, and reporting activities of paid search, paid social media, and display advertising.


  • Manage execution and performance of search, display, social, and programmatic campaigns through the full account management life cycle
  • Analyze and communicate online campaign delivery and performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Develop near and long-term paid media strategies that increase revenue, leads, and conversions
  • Keyword research, ad copy creation, and ad creative recommendations
  • Campaign setup and optimization
  • Create & manage persona-driven A/B and multivariate testing for various web-based initiatives including ad copy testing, landing page testing, funnel optimization, etc.
  • Maintain and monitor automated keyword bidding, account budget, ROI, etc.
  • Speak regularly with clients to discuss results and make recommendations around placements and campaign optimization
  • Stay up to date on the latest digital PPC, social, and other media trends


  • 4+ years managing moderate to large-scale PPC and display accounts (AdWords, Bing, Google Ads)
  • 3+ years experience with Facebook Ads and LinkedIn Ads
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with conversion tracking, tagging, and pixel management is preferred
  • Strong passion for digital media

Content Marketing Associate

eCity is looking for a Content Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This entry-level position will work in collaboration with our marketing team to tell engaging brand stories for ourselves and our clients.

Applicants should be excellent communicators, comfortable writing across multiple channels (blogs, email, social, etc.) either independently or as part of a team. While we don’t expect you to have years of marketing experience, we would like to see any writing samples you can provide.


  • Build and enhance the reputation of the brand
  • Execute marketing projects within stated timelines and budgets
  • Cultivate our target audiences with engaging blog posts, white papers, emails, and social posts


  • Write compelling copy designed to inspire action for a variety of digital marketing campaigns
  • Conduct market research, analyze competitor data, build user personas, and perform social and digital content audits at the onset of new marketing projects
  • Research, write, edit, and publish blog posts, eBooks, white papers, and case studies on a regular basis for the agency and clients
  • Collaborate with the design team to create marketing collateral for social media, email, and other digital channels
  • Manage and grow the social media presence of the agency and clients by regularly creating content, scheduling posts organically, and monitoring engagement across various channels
  • Execute organic and paid social media campaigns to meet desired business goals
  • Consistently produce and send company and client email newsletters

Freelance Designers

eCity Interactive is seeking to identify one or more exceptional designers to develop engaging and effective digital experiences, including websites, ebooks, and in-house marketing materials. Ideal candidates would collaborate seamlessly with our design, development, marketing, and project management teams, located in our Philadelphia offices.


  • Ability to take a website project from concept to development hand-off, including site mapping, concepting, wireframing, designing, and prototyping
  • Ability to design responsively for varying users and devices
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • A strong attention to detail, including a command of grid systems, typographic systems, and content organization
  • Ability to not only work independently, but successfully collaborate with a full team in a new environment
  • Ability to collaborate between strategy and design

  • 4+ years experience designing for responsive web
